The purpose of the PEF is best explained by the type and scope of projects that might be underwritten. These are taken for the experience of Education Foundation Committees in other school districts and from a polling of our Pampa staff and teachers.
Projects are listed on the right column. We hope this gives some ideas of possibilities.
Our general plan is to take a percentage of funds raised and designate that amount for some type of permanent fund. A mentioned goal for the permanent fund was $1 million, enough that fund earnings and new program money would allow significant project assistance.
